Is this YOU? The parent who wants to do their very best for their child – of course it is. Since the game (whatever your child plays) is for the kids the question is what is your parent position on the team?
We invite you to take a look at where you are. In fact we hope that as a parent or as a coach you will take the assessment to discover your beliefs and motivations. Also to discover how your child is developing and what motivates them.
Sometimes our adult attitudes are pulling us off where we want to be in order to help our children develop in the direction that will best move them toward mature adulthood. Participation in sport activities should be a life long venture – not over when your child drops out before 14 years of age.

Maybe, just maybe, your child has additional skills and interests.
Maybe, just maybe, your child is being pushed to perform beyond their developmental stage.
Maybe, just maybe, your child is not ready for the emotional pressures required to play
the game.

As a responsible parent take the assessment now.

Or enter "indiv" as the code if you are taking the assessment individually.

Have you been reading the headlines?
Parent kills coach because the child didn’t play as much as the parent wanted.
Coach pays one child to hurt another child to keep him out of the game, because the might lose if he plays.
Parents are told to keep their mouths closed or they can’t stay at the game.

Or maybe you have observed the parent with the caustic mouth where dirty words and attitudes fly out. If you were being talked to or yelled at in the same way would you some appropriate action. The child is trapped and has no alternative way out.
Or maybe there is a coach that uses obscene language with the team using put downs and insults.

Partners With Kids was established by a group of professional people (teachers, coaches, athletes, performers) to respond positively to the concerns we parents have about our children who are involved in youth sports and other youth activities.

We have developed "Inclusive" programs because everyone: Player, Parent, Coach, Teacher, Game Official, and League Official: belongs in the venture and should function as a strong, contributing member. The Kids and the Activity are the centers of our venture and they are the only things that really count. The rest of the staging and the rest of us are there to make this work out right for the Kids.

We Adults have the responsibility to make the participation of our kids in all activities a happy, personal growth experience.
